About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join the Mandleva engineering team. You will work across our product portfolio — including SnapLink, APESS, and SchoolFlow — building the APIs, services, and infrastructure that power our platforms.
What You Will Do
- Design and build scalable REST APIs and backend services
- Work with PostgreSQL, Neon, and Supabase to design and maintain data models
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features end to end
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities
What We Are Looking For
- check_circle2+ years of backend engineering experience
- check_circleStrong proficiency in Node.js or Python
- check_circleExperience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- check_circleFamiliarity with REST API design principles
- check_circleUnderstanding of authentication patterns (JWT, OAuth)
- check_circleStrong written and verbal communication in English
Nice to Have

- add_circleFamiliarity with Supabase or similar BaaS platforms
- add_circleExperience in a fintech, edtech, or security software environment
- add_circleKnowledge of Active Directory or enterprise authentication systems
